Eoptolink Launches 400G QSFP112 High Performance Optical Transceiver family

Chengdu, China, September 16, 2021- Eoptolink Technology Co., Ltd. (stock code: SZ.300502) announced the launch of its next generation 400G optical modules by introducing its QSFP112 transceiver family. During CIOE 2021 in Shenzhen Eoptolink and leading industry partners will showcase live demonstrations of 400G and 800G modules.

In the post-epidemic era, social distancing is making people more and more dependent on the Internet for work, study and life, which accelerate the global digital transformation and upgrade. Data traffic is growing rapidly, and cloud data center networks are upgrading to 400G and higher speeds. Eoptolink hold a customer-centric policy, and listen to the ideas and needs of our customer and work together with our customers to promote the development of high-speed optical interconnection technology.

In early June of this year, Eoptolink launched its 800G OSFP and QSFP-DD800 series of optical transceivers, of which both the electrical and the optical interfaces use 8x100Gbps transmission signals. The successful launch verified the electrical 100Gbps per lane technology of the host side. Now, Eoptolink launched its new generation of 400G transceivers, which adopted a form-factor compliant with the QSFP112 MSA. The 400G QSFP112 optical transceiver modules adopt 4x100Gbps signals on both the electrical and the optical interfaces. Compared with the first-generation 400G QSFP-DD optical module, the 400G QSFP112 has advantages on density and cost.

During the CIOE 2021, Eoptolink and world leading test and measurement equipment providers offer joint demonstrations to show the test performance of 400G and 800G optical transceivers. In another demonstration, the Eoptolink transceiver modules are used in an 800G switching platform. The excellent test results of the BER, T-Code and eye diagrams are shown, fully meeting the requirements of IEEE802.3 and other related standards.

Along with the large-scale deployments of its first-generation 400G optical modules, Eoptolink has lately successively launched next generation modules as 800G OSFP/QSFP-DD800 and 400G QSFP112, which will assist cloud data centers to upgrade their network.
