Recently, Eoptolink participated in the evaluation of multi-manufacturer and multi-type 5G optical transceivers organized by 5G Bearer Network Working Group under IMT-2020 (5G) Promotion Group, and showed its strength in the field of 5G Technology.

The evaluation work started at the end of November 2018. The China Academy of Information and Communications Technology (CAICT) undertook the evaluation task. The optical transceiver manufacturers, including Eoptolink, Accelink, Hisense, Finisar, etc., participated in this activity. Instrument manufacturers Keysight, VIAVI and VeEX and system equipment manufacturers Huawei and ZTE provided strong support. The evaluation work was mainly divided into two aspects: the key parameter test running on instruments, and the compatibility & interoperability test running on system equipment. There were totally 8 types of optical transceivers submitted for evaluation, covering the typical transmission data rate and distance of 5G applications.

Eoptolink offered the most complete category of transceivers, which are 7 types including SFP28 25Gb/s 10km, SFP28 25Gb/s Bidi 10/20km,  SFP28 25Gb/s CWDM 10km and QSFP28 100Gb/s 4WDM-10 10km for fronthaul, and QSFP28 50Gb/s PAM4 10/40km for mid/back-haul. All Eoptolink offered transceivers have completed the full test. 

新易盛顺利完成IMT-2020(5G)推进组5G光模块测评

近期，新易盛参加了由IMT-2020(5G)推进组下属5G承载工作组组织的多厂商多类型5G光模块测评工作, 并展现出其在5G光模块领域的雄厚实力。
本次测评从2018年11月底启动，中国信息通信研究院技术与标准研究所承担具体测评任务。新易盛、光迅、海信、Finisar等国内外光模块厂商参加了测试，仪表厂商Keysight、VIAVI、VeEX，以及系统设备商华为、中兴对测试提供了大力支持。测评工作主要包含两方面：一方面是基于仪器仪表的产品关键参数测试，另一方面是基于系统设备的兼容性与互通性测试。参测光模块共8种类型，覆盖了5G承载应用典型传输速率和距离。

新易盛是送测光模块类型最多的厂商，共送测光模块7种，包括25Gb/s 10km、25Gb/s Bidi 10/20km、25Gb/s CWDM 10km和100Gb/s 4WDM-10 10km前传光模块，以及50Gb/s PAM4 10/40km中/回传光模块。所有光模块均顺利完成全部测试项目。
