Eoptolink's single lambda 100G DWDM QSFP28 EOLQ-161HG-O-02XX5S1 series pluggable optical transceiver modules are designed for multiple channel 100GbE transmission to 80km distance over standard G.652 single mode optical fibers (SMF) . For short distances, e.g. below 2 kilometers, no EDFA and dispersion compensation modules (DCM) are required. But for relative longer distances, EDFA and DCM are required to compensate the fiber link loss and fiber dispersion. This optical module operates at a data rate of 100Gbps at the nominal DWDM wavelength from 1529.55nm to 1560.61nm as specified by the ITU-T. The electrical interface of the module is compliant with the OIF CEI-28G-VSR and compliant with QSFP28 MSA. It is designed to deploy in the DWDM networking equipment in metropolitan access and core networks.
The EOLQ-161HG-O-25-XXX5S/EOLQ-161HG-O-40-XXX5S series single mode transceiver module is designed for multiple channel 100GbE transmissions for up to 25km/40km distance over standard G.652 single mode optical fibers (SMF).The transmitter side converts the multi-lane host electrical signals to a single-lane PAM4 optical signal. The module’s optical interface utilizes a single wavelength in the DWDM O-band with wavelengths aligned to the LAN-WDM grid with 200GHz channel spacing. The module is Laser Class 1 compliant according to International Safety Standard IEC-60825. The receiver section uses a wideband APD detector and is WDM channel independent. Digital diagnostics functions are available via the I2C interface as specified by QSFP28 MSA specification SFF-8636.
